I would like, on behalf of all the players, coaches, dads and mum from Cooke RFC Mini Rugby who joined you in the Rugby Festival last weekend, to congratulate and thank Tralee RFC on your organisation and hosting of the festival. It was extremely professional and showed that a lot of thought and hard work was put in to make the festival a memorable occasion for all those attending it.  

Although there is always the inevitable desire to win, the overall atmosphere of the festival was one of good spirit, sportsmanship, camaraderie and respect for other teams and the officials. Our players certainly managed to make some new friends.  

Much as it was hard to leave Tralee on Sunday I think we were all glad to get home as the exhaustion due to the physical exertion by some and reluctance to go to bed or treat their bodies as temples by others soon took its toll and a good rest has been welcome.  

I hope there will be another chance sometime in the near future for our two clubs or some of the other clubs in the festival to meet up once again.
